Y Bwthyn (The Cottage) is a traditional Welsh stone cottage situated in the quaint rural village of Talgarreg, just 6 miles from New Quay, and the beautiful coastline of Cardigan Bay

The current owners have completely renovated the cottage to a very delightful holiday home, which has been thoughtfully furnished to a comfortable, enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone to stay. Guest  return year on year. The cottage is a home from home.

The original features of the cottage such as the exposed stonework and beams, have been kept together with a multi-fuel burner to make it a cosy and relaxing cottage.

The modern and bright kitchen/dining room is very well-equipped and includes a dishwasher, washer / dryer, fridge freezer, and a coffee pod machine, and a high chair for the little ones.

Upstairs there are two characterful bedrooms, a King size bed with en-suite(toilet and hand wash) and a twin room for children with a DVD player, together with a travel cot, bed guard, nightlight, shower seat and stairgate both end of stairs, all available on request. Each room has a TV and Freesat. There is plenty to keep you entertained during the wet weather with Board games ,Jigsaws, Books and  DVD’s or watch a good film on Netflix

The lovely enclosed garden looks out onto fields beyond and the raised patio with pergola is the ideal spot to relax and enjoy the views with a morning coffee and watch the Red Kites or watch the sun go down with a glass of Prosecco.

The village pub is 12 steps opposite which has a big screen television, pool table and Darts board, beer garden, does evening meals on Friday and Saturday and are dog friendly. No disturbance are known to be from the pub.
